R. E. West is a family-owned and operated trucking company based out of Ashland City, Tn. Our fleet of late model equipment serves our customers across all of the continental United States and Canada. We operate two transportation divisions : dry-van and an oversized / speciality division. Both divisions are staffed with hard working, dedicated drivers of all experience levels. We only ask three things of our drivers: Be Safe, Be On Time, Get Along. We expect a little more of our drivers, and in turn ask that they expect a little more of us. We don't play games with pay, don't promise mileage we can't deliver, and never ask a driver to take a dispatch they don't have the hours to safely complete. R. E. West puts our customers' needs first and foremost. We don't dictate where we go to them, they tell us where we need to go. That means we go to the east coast, Canada, and into cities. It means that sometimes our drivers have to help unload freight. Our flatbed and RGN drivers never tarp, but they do help drive equipment on and off their trailers. In return, R. E. West makes sure our drivers get paid for all the work they do, not just mileage.
